Lorenzo Miles Jr. hails from the vibrant heart of Northwest Washington, D.C., where he was raised by his parents, Lator Y. Smith and Lorenzo Miles. His formative years were spent residing between 1st and Bates Street and Sursum Cordas, where he cultivated cherished memories with family and friends. In this five-block radius, Lorenzo learned invaluable life lessons that have indelibly shaped the gentleman he is today.
Within this close-knit community, Lorenzo found a sanctuary that provided him with the opportunity to access a high-quality education, develop keen instincts, and instill a deep-rooted commitment to family values.
Lorenzo is an esteemed alumnus of Gonzaga College High School (Washington, D.C.) and Niagara University (New York), where he earned a degree in accounting. His collegiate journey was punctuated by legendary contributions to the Men’s Basketball teams at both institutions, catapulting him into a remarkable professional basketball career, spanning the United States and international arenas.
